2022
SRS GS becomes metawaste
SRS Global Services changes its name and becomes metawaste! With new offices in Fribourg, metawaste adopts an innovative business approach to waste management. The evolution of our brand name allows our company to stay connected to its heritage while establishing a new strong identity.

First version of Genius
The first version of our digital platform is made available to several of our clients to ensure development in line with market needs. The Genius Team was collaborating with the teams from SRS Global Services to ensure the future digital transition of our activities. As the year-end holidays approached, the Genius plateform received its second update, and the project became a reality!
2019
The beginnings of Genius
In the United States, a digital revolution in the recycling industry has begun. We are starting to envision how digital technologies could also change waste management in Europe. During the same year, the SRS Global Services team were already working to become a key player in this transition on a national scale. Thus, in 2019, the digitization of waste management services began with Project ReThink, the early stages of Genius.

A growing activity
Our outsourced and multisite management offer continues to expand in Switzerland with the help of our 50 employees. Our activities cover 480 sites for 40 national customers.

SRS becomes SRS Global Services
The birth of SRS Global Services. Swiss Recycling Services (SRS), now known as SRS Global Services, is developing new services for large Swiss enterprises. For the first time, waste management is carried out at the source to enhance sorting quality
